Baby shower benefits maternity home

The Knights of Columbus Mary Queen of Angels Council teamed with Archbishop Ryan junior cheerleaders to hold a baby shower for the babies and moms at Bensalem’s St. Margaret of Castello Maternity Home.

Ed and Margie Clark, pro-life representatives for the Council and St Martha Parish, chaired the annual effort, which went from Oct. 1-16.

The items were collected as part of the Knights’ Aid and Support After Pregnancy (ASAP) program.

The junior cheerleaders are under the direction of Marisa Murphý and Alexis Trinacria, while others serving as coaches are Lexi Freer, Samantha Gorman, Mel Blanco, Sloane Weikel, Michela Rehfuss, Melissa Dunne, Juliana Stasson, Ryan Gack, Juliana Capcino and Bella Trinacria. ••
